Obama Caves On Net Neutrality - GOP Claims Government Takeover
So net neutrality is all the rage right now. The issue is that whether we give big companies that provide internet services the power to regulate and even restrict access to certain websites. Some regulations might be as inoffensive as slower access to a certain website that your provider doesn't have a certain deal with or be in competition with. Some might be as severe infringement on freedom on the web like the service provider to charge you a small fee for accessing a particular website. What's your take on this?
Introduction
Hello everyone!
My name is Jaime and I will be sharing thoughts on everything from politics, religion, ethics, news and everything else that you (the reader) might find interesting. I will be making comments mostly on news and videos that I find on the web and share it with you for and see what you guys think. I believe that everyone should have a voice no matter how unpopular your opinions might be. Nothing is off limit to discuss.
A little about my self:
I was born in Peru, grew up in a Hispanic family, then I spent most of my childhood living in Japan, and from my early teenage years up until now, I have been living here in the United States where I currently attending college. I love philosophy, science, technology, politics, movies and music. (Just like any other kid my age huh?) I am very open to ideas and I want to hear opinions from everyone about anything on any subject. I believe dialogue is the answer to a lot of the problems we face in the world. If we only took sometime to sit down and talk instead of bombing cities and towns. Shedding blood when all we really need is a little bit of understanding.
So let me hear your voices! Speak up! its the greatest freedom we have that will never ever be taken from you.
